Lao ambassador hands out passports for France-based players to compete in SEA Games

On behalf of the Lao muaylao and tennis federations, the Lao Ambassador to France, Mr Khamin Khitchadeth, last week gave Lao passports to a tennis player and a muaylao kickboxer so they can represent Laos at the 31st South-East Asian (SEA) Games in Vietnam this month.
Tennis player Mr Mick Lescure Sadettan has years of experience at the international level, while muaylao fighter Mr Dimitri Kyttanasilalack has met with considerable success in France.
Ambassador Khamin praised the two men and their parents for their support for Laos and their desire to help develop the country’s sporting ambitions.
Mr Mick was born in France in 1993 and took up tennis at the age of five, trained by his father.
He attended a professional tennis school and now plays for France professionally, representing the country at events in Europe and further afield.
He will come to Laos to train with other tennis players for one week before the teams travels to Vietnam for the SEA Games.
Mr Dimitri was born in France in 1991. He will compete in the 63kg weight division of muaylao. He took up kickboxing as a child and then turned professional in the sport and will now throw his weight behind the Lao team of martial artists.
